The family and friends of young teenager David Tyrone Ball have been thrown into mourning after his shooting death in Belzoni, Mississippi on Monday, the 15th of July.
From Denton, Texas, David Tyrone Ball III met his untimely end in Mississippi where he was reportedly shot.
While his family has announced the tragic death of Ball, details of what exactly happened have remained elusive.
Ball’s aunty, Debra Lee announced his passing to the world after sharing an obituary poster on her Facebook wall.
The poster contained images of the young man who was born on April 27th, 2005, meaning he died aged only 19.
Lee expressed her love for her departed nephew and bid him a good ‘rest in heaven.’
Her post elicited numerous reactions from people who were completely shocked over the passing of young David Tyrone Ball.
A comment from Marcus Clark who revealed he has a daughter the same age as Ball encapsulated the deep emotions felt by those who knew the young man as he said the death ‘hurt so bad’.
He expressed his regret over the tragic circumstance and offered prayers for the bereaved family.
A former teacher of Ball also gave more insight into his life and character as she mourned him.
Susan Bradford said Ball was well known for taking no prisoners ie, he was not going to stand to accept nonsense from anybody. He was a confident and assertive young man who fought for his rights and beliefs.
Bradford shared a heart-warming anecdote about David as well, revealing that he never liked being called by his entire name – David Tyrone Ball III.
